We didn't realize how early the supermarkets close in the area so we had no option but to come here. We were hoping it would get us out of a jam until the morning, but they hardly had any of the things we were looking for. Nice staff though

Been shopping here over 40 years. Always been a great place for supplies when NB is 30 minutes away. Having the liquor license helps a lot too!! Everything you could need in one spot. I always look forward to stopping in when I’m close by.

Get everything you need. They have food, alcohol, decor, health and first aid supplies, and Deb's Dips..... the best dip packages EVER!!!
Staff is always so friendly and helpful. The decor section is amazing. Wish i could buy it all.

Beautiful general store with lovely gifts, souvenirs, decor for cottage / lake life. Lots of grocery items, LCBO, gas, propane etc. One stop shop. Their decor items, candles, clothing are beautiful and it's hard to not buy something. Love visiting this gem of a store.

It has new ownership and it's still the same. Friendly service, has what you need for a cottage country store.
They always have nice trading post style gifts.
My only complaint? It used to be Young's, easy name to remember, now it's South Shore centre general store. To long. Lol. South Shore General Store has a better ring to it lol
But if that's all there is to complain about? Then life is good at the general store.

This store has everything you need. They have food, booze, smokes, fishing gear, OLG, odd items for the cottage and boats.

Great service as well. I am happy to have a friendly store near to home.

What a great store! Jam-packed with necessities and a great selection of trinkets and unique gifts. The liquor store is secondary for me. The ladies who work there are always smiling.
