I wouldn’t recommend going to south’s. They are very rude and inconsiderate of their costumers, all they care about is business. They don’t let you be sized unless you pay and buy dresses in store for no reason. DONT RECOMMEND.

South's is perfect for any sort of formal event clothing. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. Not to mention the quick last minute turnaround time. Also, my tux fit great! I usually do not write reviews but this business was that good.

I purchased my wedding dress at Souths. The staff there are very friendly every time I have went to the store or just called for a question. They have a great smaller salon type atmosphere, which I loved! I went by twice to try on dresses before purchasing mine and they helped me every time with no problem. I was a difficult bride I tried on so many dresses and they never once complained. The price for the dress was good. The alterations were done in the store and my dress is beautiful and wedding ready. Price for the alterations were very affordable, and she is very good at what she does. I wanted a piece of a T-shirt cut out in the shape of a heart to be added to the inside of my dress for my “something old and blue” and she cut out the shirt and added it into my dress just like I wanted. My dress is literally my dream dress and I would recommend Souths to any new bride searching for her dress.

Went here for my senior prom dress shopping. First place I ever hit this year. My experience was amazing. Loved that I was plus sized and they didn't make me feel like I wasn't good enough like another place last year. They were very amazing throughout the process! From the moment we walked in til I found the dress for prom. Never felt more like a princess to end my senior year! Definitely will come again!! ♡

Carolyn was an amazing associate from start to finish, not only patiently helping me pick my dress but also the perfect accessories to go along with it. My daughter went to South's Specialty Clothing in Boone for her prom dress. What a wonderful experience! The staff could not have been easier to work with, they made my daughter feel like she was the only one in the store!! The store has so many beautiful dress but the staff were experts on helping her to decide based on her size and skin tone the perfect dress for her!! I would definitely recommend this store and plan to purchase her prom dress for next year here!!

I went to South's for my wedding accessories for myself, bridesmaids, and suits for my fiance and groomsmen. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I found everything I needed and the staff were so nice and helpful. Everyone was so kind and made sure I had everything I needed for my special day. I worked with Caroline and she was very kind and professional. Her attention to detail was amazing and I am so glad I went to South's! If you are planning a wedding and in the Boone, NC area, I highly recommend South's. Not only can they help you find the perfect dress, but they can help with styling your entire wedding party down to finding the perfect shoes. They are amazing!

Absolute BEST service in the high country! I went to other bridal stores before going to Souths, and it was a complete waste of my time! After leaving the other stores and going to South's I found my dress that day. I ordered it, they called me as soon as it walked in the door and have been excellent with helping the bridesmaids, trying the dress on, literately when ever I want to, and have gave me so much advice. They are truly the best bridal store in the high country, and are local people who have been around for many years. The staff are so organized, anytime I call about anything they know exactly how to help, in a timely manner. I looked through some of the other poor reviews, and I dont see how any of that is true! They are all great in the store. Brides, look no further, just go to Souths and save you and your bridal party a lot of time!
