Southside Sports is a great fishing tackle and bait shop located steps from the beautiful Susquehanna River. The business is owned and operated by a husband and wife team who specialize in carrying products that are proven to be appropriate for a number of types of fishing in Central Pennsylvania waters. Yesterday my brother and I were fishing on the Susquehanna with the husband (Ken) as our guide. We were in his 18 foot bass boat and between the two of us we caught about 60 small mouth bass.

Went in looking for my first musky setup, when it comes to musky I'm all wallet no knowledge. Ken helped me pick out a rod and real combination at such a reasonable price I was able to pick-up a second setup so I could take my dad out.

I'm always impressed with the service and always walk out of there with a little extra knowledge. You can't get that from Amazon or a big box store.

Best tackle shop around. Very knowledgeable owners. Called them last night to real some new line for me at 555 and they said they'll stay open come down. 2 hours later caught a 35lbs cat fish.

Took a pole in to be fixed. Had it for over a month with no correspondence. Had to stop back in to inquire about it. Woman told me that owner was busy and he would look into it. The following week she called and said they couldn't fix it. It wasn't like the pole exploded or anything it was a simple fix. Got it corrected somewhere else
