I mean, it's not, not a zoo. This place has everything from beach toys to sea shells, hats, shoes, men's boxer briefs printed in a picture of ramen noodles to air brushed personalized shirts in real time, live hermit crabs with aquariums, funny Trump stickers and even a country store with snacks, candy, etc.
It's not my jam but the wife found a thing or two she really liked.
What I liked was the dip n dots truck outside. Did you know you can get ½ & ½ on the flavors? Awesome!

Kids always have to stop at the shark store. Trying to social distance AND get a good parking space? Go early in the morning as soon as they open. We went in July and were one of very few families in there. Also, found out this year that July 1st is Souvenir City Day. Enjoyed the display that had some of the history of the store.

7/21/23 There is just so much stuff here! We usually have a custom airbrushed shirt made for the kids each year. Show up for this earlier in the week so there is plenty of time for it to be made and picked up before you leave town. We have enough old shirts to make a t-shirt quilt now. LOL Of course, you have to get the pic in front of the shark entrance, and of the pirate ship on the back side of the store. On another note though, seriously, don’t mess around with skin cancer. Pick up sunscreen, hats, and long sleeve shirts. They have a lot to choose from here.

Always a great time at Sovenir City!! Have grown up visiting here on vacation. The shark is iconic. My airbrushed t-shirt from over 10 years ago is still going strong. I love being able to look at all the trinkets here.

The shark in the front is really neat and a great photo opportunity. There's something here for everyone. The prices really aren't that bad either, pretty affordable for a souvenir shop. I do feel bad for the hermit crabs, they obviously aren't treated very well.
