I had a GF (gluten free) and nut-free black forest cake which are hard to find. This cake was delicious, moist, and balanced (everything had the perfect amount of sweetness). The cherry filling had whole cherries, not just a compote or jam. The frosting was light and fluffy. Packaged to transport home unscathed. Great service. I'll be happy to support this small business and order again. Thank you!

Ms. Lynn was amazing. We needed a cake made for my son who has allergies to eggs, peanuts and my daughter has allergies to peanuts and almonds. With short notice she created this beautiful cake that we all could enjoy on his special day. The cake melted in my mouth it was moist and flavorful. The icing was delicious butter cream and we were all very happy. My son kept going back for more. It was also packaged securely with directions. How thoughtful! Thank you and we will order many more times. Oh, the price is reasonable and worth every bite.

I learned about this bakery via Facebook. Great interaction with the owner. I have a huge sweet tooth so I was looking forward to trying all the flavors but I settled for carrot cake cupcake, Oreo cupcake, pineapple upside down cupcake, sweet potato cupcake, strawberry shortcake, and banana pudding. Everything was moist. Some weren’t too sweet, such as the pineapple upside down cupcake and carrot cake in my opinion.

Amazing cupcakes!! I’ve tried the funfetti, strawberry, Oreo, spice, and sweet potato cupcakes! They were so good! Best cupcakes I’ve had, hands down. Very rich and great in flavor. Lynn is also great with working with you. I’ve come to her last minute twice (sorry!) but she made it happen! 100% recommend 🙂

Lynn made a beautiful cake for my daughter’s party! It was exactly what we wanted, plus. She perfectly recreated and combined the best elements of the photos I sent her, right down to the Mario Brothers figure. Not only was the cake beautiful, it was absolutely delicious. Everyone at the event was wowed. Extremely reasonable price. Lynn was very friendly as well- she provided much better customer service and value than I received from another popular bakery here in Laurel. I highly recommend Lynn’s Special Cakes and Bakes.
