I razor scootered all the way over here from my in-laws' house to check out the museum only to find they were closed to the public... I was so sad

I have several of the big brands bikes and was a loyal Specialized customer in recent years .
Among all the bikes manufacturers, Specialized ranks at the very bottom .
Their customer support as is evident from Google reviews and / or online bike forums is the absolute worst.

Their carbon frames break and crack due to manufacturing defects and practices more than any other brand on the market and unlike most other bike manufacturers , they
DO NOT HONOR THEIR so called
"LIFETIME WARRANTY"

Lust look them up on the better business bureau , look at their " F" rating and the amount of complaints submitted vs the amount resolved.

Here is the BBB definition for " F" rating :

" F rating is the BBB LOWEST GRADE"
Typically business with F rating have unanswered and/or unresolved complaints that reflects failure by the business to deal with the causes of customers problems "

Look at other bike manufacturers rating on the BBB website , no one comes even close to an F rating.

Look on YouTube for videos showing DIY carbon bikes frame repair videos , the vast majority feature broken Specialized frames.

Do yourself and your pocket a favor and go with any other brand.

Specialized is the absolute worst!!!

Defective carbon and cold shoulder warranties. It's no secret that the covid production years for the specialized enduro were riddled with bad carbon triangles and exploding x2s. Specialized has taken the route of united health care and instructed their warranty department to defend and deny. I know four homies that all had the same experience. Their warranties are nothing but a marketing scam. Buyer beware. Conversely, Santa Cruz asks almost no questions. Guess I'm a vpp guy now. Triangles shouldn't break on gravel rides... it's a safety issue. Thanks scumbags!

Great experience. Wish we can actually get a guided tour of the place and how it’s made or the wind tunnel. But oh well. The museum is small but worth a stop if you are driving up or the down the coast and you own a specialized bicycle.

The BEST in the business—at having the WORST customer service and post sales support in the industry.

Sadly, it’s nearly impossible to get in contact with anyone. Text/SMS hides everyone names and allows them to provide you support with zero accountability and have no empathy at all for your concerns/issues.

Numerous issues of overcharging or simply canceling orders with no communication. Fair warning for anyone out there not already invested in this brand to STAY AWAY and give your money to another biking company that actually cares about biking and not the bottom line.

my 2023 Turbo Levo Carbon is 1.5 years old. The motor went out while normal riding. I took the bike to an authorized Specialized dealer. They said after diagnostics on computer and riding that the motor was bad. They contacted Specialized to try to get a replacement motor. My claim was denied even though the warranty is 2 years. They came up with a reason that said the motor had been modified. This reason is 100% false. I'm the only owner and the factory screws on the motor housing have never been touched. The factory TCU was replaced last year under warranty because they said it failed during cold weather! I live in Florida...funny! So the only modification was from specialized from their own TCU swap out then it threw off a diagnostic code they say showed the motor was modified. So just to review, Specialized "modified" the factory settings by sending a new TCU then later when the motor failed, they said they would not cover their own warranty. They caused the modification error code! Hello!
The bike shop said the new motor is $1200 and labor is $250!
Don't' ever buy a specialized Ebike and think their warranty will take care of it because it won't!!
