I would give 0 stars if I could. I was in an auto accident a few months ago. After a period of time, an issue with my shoulder hadn't healed and had, instead, become worse.
My doctor referred me to Dr. Stoetzel over a month ago. Since then he has made 2 other calls to ask them to contact me and set an appointment. My attorney has also contacted them twice for the same reason. 5 weeks and 5 phone calls later, still not a peep from Dr. Stoetzel's office.
I'm done waiting for these 'medical professionals' to make contact. I am going to go to a physician that actually has ethics, morals, and cares about doing what they are sworn to do.

He has performed multiple surgeries on me snd I have had excellent outcomes. As a result he has also operated on several of my family members and I refer him patients frequently. Dr Stoetzel has a very relaxed style that gives me confidence as a patient and yet when he needs to he can be direct and firm and me being a physician , I need that , as I am a terrible patient. His office folks are equally efficient and helpful.

My experience with Dr Spencer Stoetzel is ,and has been for 10 years , an absolute pleasure. He is a very kind , compassionate, and caring doctor who always listens to your present situation and evaluates it with care.He is patient, taking time to understand what your needs are and sharing his concerns and appropriate solutions with you.
His receptionists and staff are always friendly and helpful and know you by name, which makes your experience very personal .

Positive: I still have an ankle
Negative: 1- Gave no options 2- I had to REQUEST physical therapy to learn to walk again 3- No nurse in his office 4- He refused to refill pain prescriptions even though he admitted I would be in pain! 5- Getting a follow up appointment was terrible 6-Office staff was INCREDIBLY RUDE 7- Stoetzel is incredibly rude, lacks any kind of empathy or compassion, quite arrogant. 8- Stopped accepting my insurance without referring me anywhere for aftercare and now that I'm still having problems and in pain I'm having a hard time getting in anywhere else cause they all want me to see a surgeon who doesn't care for his patients after surgery!

Been dealing with severe neck and arm pain for several weeks. Went to see Dr. Stoetzel, his PA ordered a MRI and within hours they were already following up with me with the results. I ended up having a ACDF done by Dr. Stoetzel at TMH. Everyone took extra caution and was very assertive to my needs. I highly recommend Dr. Stoetzel and his team. I could’ve chose a better doctor. He knows exactly what he’s doing!!!

Dr. Stoetzel‘s skills as a surgeon moved my constant 8 arm/shoulder pain to a ZERO after spinal surgery 12/2020. I could not be more grateful.

It wasn’t easy (which I knew to expect) but the outcome was worth the effort. I followed all his very clear and straightforward pre and post op do’s and don’t. I also made it to all my Physical Therapy appointments. Dr Stoetzel did his work to give me a chance to do my work.
