I used to like this store. I'm not going back. Today I believe i was overcharged for what I bought. I understand prices are going up but the same item I bought not that long ago for 10 bucks cheaper. A bag of nuggets and 2 basil drinks shouldn't be almost 40 bucks. I'll find another store. Not for me anymore.

Great place to find Indian & Fijian grocery items. Family who runs it are friendly and always willing to assist. Awesome meat selection available too. I have been coming here for years…prices might be a little higher than place like Modesto & Sacramento but it’s LA.

Was visiting from England in August at the height of the hot Summer. Found this place by chance. The meat quality was excellent and the customer service was also excellent. We travelled in from Palm Springs to collect our order, everything was ready and the meat was placed in a Ice-Bucket to help keep it cool for the two hour journey back with outside temperatures hitting 115 deg Fahrenheit. We also found all the Masalas and other items needed for preparing meals. Highly recommend Desi Market in Hawthorne for excellent personal service.

Always has great deals on lamb and goat. Keeps good amounts of Fiji Islands foods and snacks. My parents go here all the time. When I'm not with them the owner always helps them load the heavy items into their car. Great customer service.

Nice selection of goods many Fijian favorites like pops soda, New Zealand lamb,Bongo snacks or other kinds,corned lamb,spices, lamb sausage, goat meat ?, and alot more highly recommend. Very friendly and helpful staff too very welcoming.

Yea the stores really clean, the chicken is fresh, they got all the food that I need. The staff is also really nice and pretty quick for scanning the food too.
