There are plenty of other souvenir shops in Gulf Shores. Don’t waste your money. First she tried to sneak in a “reusable bag” fee and only removed it when I asked about the fee. She jumped off of the payment screen quickly once I questioned it. Then we walked out of the store and literally turned around, walked back in to return an “impulse purchase” my daughter made. No joke 10 seconds from walking out the door and there’s absolutely no grace in refunds(not to mention they didn’t offer an exchange) if you’re going to enforce a ridiculous policy at least mention all of it.
We’ve went to the other souvenir shops and their customer service is much better. Go to any other place.

It just amazes me how some business (Surf Style at the corner of East Beach Blvd and 59 in Gulf Shores) would rather alienate patrons that frequently spend money in their stores year around.
Because of the Shrimp festival they aprently have put in place a policy to charge people $20 just to come in and shop then leave. If I were looking to park to attend the festival that would be one thing, but I wasn’t, I was only planning to be in there maybe 5 minutes.

This is greed at its highest level. I was told by the manager (Jade) that “they needed the parking for people that wanted to go to shrimp fest “,
but yet they don’t care about the people that come there all year long.to contribute to their bottom line profit.
Needless to say this will be the last time I give this store in general any money!!!!!

Buyer Beware!!!!! Well the COVID closings didn’t help this store in the customer service department. Skip this store if you don’t want to be scammed!!!!! Signs posted everywhere advertising “sales” only to discover they charge you full price on everything. We bought multiple shirts and were charged doubled on everything. When we brought the “mistake “ to the cashiers attention we were told that we were wrong despite multiple piles on multiple tables labels with the sale price. Obviously confused, we asked to speak to the manager. Worst management I’ve ever come across. Aggressive from the moment he walked over. He admitted they were wrong, but he said that there was nothing they could do. Even though it was their mistake they were happy to keep the money.

Store or Regional Manager needs to spend a week in here teaching the kids manners and etiquette.

Don’t make fun of customers ins Spanish it was evident you were talking about this poor mom who’s kid was having a meltdown.

Dressing room person took of as my daughter came up, finally got someone back and the lady was inconvenienced by my wife and daughter trying to rehang the items and give you the item tag#5 you refused to take the cling and made them lay it down and then you picked it up.

The cashier didn’t not need to be the “face” of the store as customers saw her last in the way out. Definitely thought she was better than the paying customers.

There was one pour kid looked defeated and was working by himself with no help, and when he dropped a bunch of empty boxes, yaaaaa his team mates did not help him.

Went with my family to this store for spring break within the last week. We got $20 shirts for the buy 3, get 1 deal. Even before washing the shirt, the vinyl is coming off without any sort of stick. It is incredibly easy to take off and is ruined after washing it once. Low quality shirts, and a low quality shop considering print shirts is the majority of the place.. and the shirts are overpriced! Take your money elsewhere!

We have spent hundreds and hundres of dollars buying their t-shirts over the years that double for advertising for them and today they wouldn't let us use a $5 coupon off $50 (we spent $85) AND upon closer inspection, 1 of the on sale t-shirts rang up regular price instead of the $5 off.
I think they forget they aren't the only overpriced tshirt shop in GS AND they should train their employees to be nicer or at least not hateful as well as ignorant. Go to Avins. SKIP THIS PLACE!!!

We bought beach chairs and they broke within 2 hours. We tried to return or exchange the chairs and they wouldn't allow us. Garbage, cheap products. Would not shop here again.
