Terrible experience yesterday. Went in with the means and intention to buy. When I inquired about an item, the woman who I suppose is the owner replied that the price was probably out of my range. What's wrong with someone who gives this type of answer to a customer? This woman knows nothing about myself, about my means. I stopped at her store after a brunch, appropriately dressed for the day, so I can only guess her judgment was based on my Latina appearance. Anyway. Luckily my daughter, who I intended to gift with the item, did not enter the store with me to see such poor treatment for no reason. We certainly can find what I was looking for elsewhere, and better, without such rudeness and bitterness.

Susan has the best collection of heirloom toys and a myriad of treasures that are unforgettable, unbelievable and magical, just like she is! The best store I have visited in my life, must see to believe.....

An eclectic mix of old and new toys chosen with the utmost care, this store is unique. And it has unique finds, vintage and other pieces you won't find elsewhere. The thing is that the store isn't necessarily for kids, and I didn't feel comfortable having my kid within arm's reach of expensive and breakable things. So it's a great place for adults who love toys or who want to choose a great find for a kid.

If you love whimsy, books and old Steiff stuffed animals of all shapes and sizes...don't miss Susan's store room(s) ..an imaginative labyrinth of charming toy vignettes focusing on mainly high quality lovely stuffed animals...lions and tigers and bears OH MY!
Tall Giraffes in safari hats, old postcards, placards, tiger cubs with the sweetest faces. This is a toy store for any age child up yo and including 90 year young kids.

Adorable shop with curiosities, toys, books, accessories and more! Exquisitely curated and thoughtful, you could spend an hour in here browsing and still now see everything. Highly recommend stopping (all ages appropriate) if you are in this cute little town.

Absolutely interesting and beautiful collection of toys, books, stuffed animals and souvenirs from around the world. Every corner has a theme, including costumes, toys books and art supplies to spark creativity. As her owner puts it "anything for the curious minds" lots of collectibles! Lots of curious items from the past. For sure something to see and buy.

I used to live near Susan's Store Room and now live in Virginia. But I still call on this place if I want something special such as a certain doll or stuffed animal. They have impressive and unusual pieces. It's a treasure of a store. I'd give it ten stars if I could!!! Wish we had one on the east coast!!

Completely fascinating place to wander through. Susan is very friendly and informative. She has wonderful stories about how this unique place evolved and the teddy bear became famous. Take children to experience this.
