There are a few stool to sit, and enjoy the Boba. Small space, but under new ownership, and he is making it awesome! The Taiyaki waffles are delicious, sweet treat. Love the Taro Root Boba too.

I was looking for coffee nearby and saw this place had that and Taiyaki! So I had to visit it. Hands down, Sweet Reef has the best boba in SLO county! The first time, we got a Vanilla Latte and a Strawberry Matcha. The Vanilla Latte had the perfect balance of sweet vanilla flavour without losing the good coffee taste. I asked for a less sweet taste on the Strawberry Matcha and I loved it. The second time, I got a Brown Sugar Matcha with boba and asked for a stronger matcha taste. I was not disappointed! The drinks taste so good, the boba is super chewy. We also tried the Cheddar Cheese, Cookie Butter and Red Bean Taiyaki. They were all good, but the Red Bean Taiyaki was my favourite in flavour. The dough was just a little bit too dry with the Cookie Butter combination. Shout out to Rola and Ayten for their excellent service. They made the drinks exactly the way we wanted them, we got our drinks super fast and they were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Will definitely come again next time I am in SLO.

Seriously, for those who know how much I love my Thai tea with Boba - this place wins Hands down of anywhere I’ve tried in SLO County & yes, I’ve tried several places when Sweet Reef wasn’t open 🤣
Rich flavor, easy on the ice & cream per request, unsweetened - they are gracious enough to add my Splenda to it for me before sealing.
The taiyaki I’ve tried is excellent as well.
Great team of husband/wife own & work it, excellent & kind help staff as well.

The flavors were so good. I enjoyed the Oreo and Nutella the best. But I'm more of a chocolate person. They were also the perfect size for each one. We also had their sweet reef flavored boba. I thought that it was a bit floral flavoring for me.

Best Boba and Taikaki we've ever tried. This place was amazing. I loved it there and the whole city is amazing. Can't wait to go back.

The drinks and the boba were delicious. The taiyaki was also good however it was not cooked all the way as the part with the filling was dripping out uncooked batter. Overall a pretty nice boba place just wished the taiyaki was cooked all the way.

I have been a loyal customer since this place opened 2 years ago. Everything is so yummy & delicious on the menu. The drinks, the vibe, and the taiyaki are immaculate. And not just boba: hot + iced drinks, milk tea, and taiyaki fillings are also customizable. Highly recommend. Nice local spot that hits the spot. Friendly staff. A must try if you're in the area!

You can expect to easily spend $6 on their medium sized (smallest) drink and a couple (2) taiyakis for $5. Their taiyakis are the star of the show and their hand crafted drinks are essential to get. Their tapioca pearls are 4/5 because it varies on their chew and I prefer soft and chewy. You get a lot of boba as a add-in. I get their boba light.

Great addition to the Embarcadero!

The prices are fair, the menu has a wide array of drinks, the location is convenient, and the drinks are decent for the area! Mind you, it’s hard to find good boba in SLO county, so I’m very appreciative of this location.

I was sad that the Taiyaki machine was out of order when I came so I didn’t get to try the pancake, but we enjoyed our drinks.
