We love this place and have stayed here many times. It is our favorite in Mendocino. Great location, with an easy walk to every thing in town, including the beautiful headlands and river. The comfy rooms provide a great space and every morning there are wonderful muffins. But the special treat is access to the tubs which just melt all the tensions away. Perfect holiday.

Overall, very pleasant and comfortable stay. Pillows could be a bit firmer ... Well-appointed, although did not get to try the stove (I usually cook), which had electric coils, 3 of which where kind of tilted ... while one was flat. Maybe next time, as we do intend to return.|Liked that the 2 restaurants we dined at were just behind the property! My husband has a bad knee, so walking the very short distance was a positive! Walking distance to good coffee place to get my morning cappuccino. :)|Loved the way the grounds/garden were maintained and having a parking spot was very nice! We were not able to try the spa ... perhaps next time.

My wife and I stayed in the garden cottage with our beagle. The backyard was perfect for our dog and the cottage was absolutely perfect. The location is excellent right in the center of the town close to everything. I would highly recommend the Sweetwater iInn when going to Mendocino, especially if they have a pet

Ahhh yes, just had our first rejuvenating stay at the Inn & Spa. What an experience! The tubs are just right, and the sauna is nice and hot, too! What a gem 💎

Stayed in the Apple Cottage. Great location being downtown and right behind Luna Italian restaurant and very close to Patterson's (my favorite pub). Has everything you need. We go every year. Mendocino is magical. Make sure you walk the trail around the shore cliffs!! That is a must do. Scenery is amazing

Great little B&B! I loved the morning muffins and the access to the communal soaking tub. The Rivergate room is cozy and had everything I needed during my stay, including a mini fridge, coffee and tea, and the included morning pastries. I would come stay here again!

Excellent in every way. Clean, friendly, clear instructions, beautiful and spacious accommodation. It was really nice to stay in the Redwood Tower with a kitchen so we could do food prep for our family reunion. |The pastries every morning were delightful and soaking every day was so rejuvenating. The roof deck was so cool!||We absolutely loved our time there and can’t wait to return!

We've been going to Sweetwater for years and they are consistently responsive and hospitable. The location, right in Mendocino Village, is fantastic. Their rooms, cottages, and water towers are all nice and reasonably priced. And we love the spa hot tub/sauna rooms (they offer a complementary 1 1/2 hour in the communal hot tub but we prefer the private).
