Always came here for snacks and gas, today however will be the last day I will give them my money. I had went in for chips and beside them was the tomato juice in the alcohol section. I was just inspecting if the tomato juice had alcohol when I set it down and was going to head to the register when man in a green shirt with a receding hairline screamed at me multiple times as to why I had opened the bottle. I let him know I did not open it, he said he saw in the cameras, supposedly. Fortunately, the bottle had a tamper seal, where the cap would create a bubble if tampered with (aka opened). The cap was flat, none of the the bottles were tampered with. Showed it to him and he just stared at the bottle and returned to the register when realizing he was wrong. No apology no nothing, so much for the cameras if you are just going to be accusing people. Better if you take your money elsewhere. This was on 12/15/24 at around 5:30pm.

I have been stopping at tackle box for years ALLWAYS fast and friendly. Tackle box has a wide variety of fishing gear and live bait. If your heading to Eastman lake or Hensley to do some fishing stop at tackle box you won't be disappointed...

They always have the cheapest gas in madera, and you can pay at the pump with your debit or credit card SAME PRICE AS CASH! I love them fur that! Everybody else will stiff you an extra. .10 to .20 a gallon for using your card, but not Tackle Box.😀

I live close to this establishment and was a local customer. However today I bought some snacks and noticed the amount was rather high. I asked for the receipt and checked it while in my car. Looking at the receipt I noticed a drink I didn't have was charged. When I went to ask for the amount back the lady was in disbelief and made me wait a couple of minutes so she could get someone to cover the register while she checked the camera footage. After what seemed like 10 minutes she noticed she was wrong and offered a prompt emotionless apology. The prices at this place aren't the best and they never show how much you are going to pay for a snack. However I liked supporting this local business. I will now take my business to the local dollar general.

Nice clean store. Prices on goods and their fuel is reasonable. In fact, their fuel prices typically is one of the lowest in Madera. Staff is super friendly and helpful with the customers.

If you ever see a green Taco Truck parked in the front right side, (gas station , has nothing to do with the food. Just nice enough to let taco truck park). Has the BEST FOOD in town!!! The burrito Supremes are to die for!!! Truck is not there every day. And only there for maybe 4 to 5 hours. They run out of food, every time!!! LOVE IT!!!

This is where I've pumped gas for many many years. Also my pit stop for snacks. Tackle Box allows vendors to sell food there, most Saturday mornings it's home made bbq. And in the after noons its a green taco truck. If you are a regular they will remember you which is what I enjoy.
