A permanent bracelet I got here in June tarnished due to chemicals in a hot tub and the store manager was so helpful. They ended up replacing my bracelet for me, and they have a ton of other cute jewelry too!

As French people, we were delighted to come to this store to make bracelets and keep a great souvenir, but the girls there weren't helpful at all and I saw two of the girls looking at me very badly and talking over me when I was waiting for my boyfriend to choose his pearls, so we left with nothing. The girls were so rude. I won't be coming back here and I think it's a real shame.

Visited from out of town, the shop is very cute and great priced. Didn’t get 5 stars because all the young girls working were rude and couldn’t be bothered. Seemed like they would rather sit at the table and make their own stuff vs help and interact with a store with several customers.

I love love love this bead shop. It’s so cute an has such an amazing vibe the second you step in. All the staff are super kind and help you get what you need. The only reasons on why I have this a 4 star instead of 5 is how you shop the beads and some jewelry. You have to take a tray and but the beads in the small bags and total up the amounts yourself. I would have appreciated instruction because the first time I shopped I carried the beads in my hand and had to go back and put them in the baggies after the worker said she could ring me up unless I had the tray. The other reason is because I have bought 2 rings form here because all the jewelry they carry is adorable. I spent over $60 on the two rings and within a week they both tarnished, turned a copper color and made my finger green brown which took 2 days to come off. I even payed the extra fee to get the “gold plated ones”. I have other rings that are gold plated and didn’t tarnish. I am slightly disappointed but otherwise this is a great shop for beginner and advanced jewelry makers.

Great selection of unique and cute jewelry! But I sadly did not have the best experience. I purchased the “permanent jewelry”. This is falsely advertised because they do not do the “zapping” as many other places do but they instead wrap a wire around it. I have had it for less than a month and already fell off. Also undisclosed additional charge for an anklet as opposed to a bracelet. Understandable but would have liked to been made aware prior to purchasing.

The Bead Shop in Laguna Beach is a gem! In addition to beads and jewelry-making supplies, the shop offers a beautiful selection of jewelry (e.g. gold, silver, beaded, etc.) and other small gift items (candles!). I purchased a few items for myself and gifts, my favorite item being the permanent bracelet they created for me. I appreciate the helpful and knowledgeable staff and look forward to shopping here again.
