I live out of the area but decided to stop by while in State College for a football game. The employees were all very knowledgeable and helpful. I was just looking around but decided to purchase a "The Bicycle Shop" cycling jersey for the great service. Came back in January and purchased my dream bike! Larry and Grant were great. I got the exact bike I was looking for, and then they spent the time to make sure it fit perfectly and I understood all the features.

All the workers here are very nice and welcoming. Prices are very affordable, and this shop is the cheapest compared to other State college shops. Definitely going here for the next 4 years while I’m at college.

Having been born and raised in State College, I’ve been a customer of the shop since I was about 4 years old, and I’ve always received great service. Grant, under his management, and the rest of the crew run a tight ship which keeps people on their toes.

To that end, despite the fact they’re super busy, they continue to be welcoming, patient, and somehow ALWAYS find time to assist me with any questions // issues I have, which makes me feel like a valued customer; I’m sure many others share that same sentiment.

Only issue (which is entirely on me) is that I’ve spent WAYYYY too much money there over the course of my lifetime…I just can’t seem to walk out of that shop without having purchased something(s). Again, no one to blame but me there 🙃

The guys at The Bicycle Shop are so knowledgeable, helpful and patient with my family and mountain bike enthusiast sons and their friends. Had a 1990’s Specialized Hard Rock serviced, and it’s now just like new! Better than new, really. The repair staff kept me informed via text messages through the entire process of scheduling the repairs, providing a price estimate, ordering parts, and completing the repairs. One of the most friendly and professionally run businesses I’ve ever experienced. I’d give them 6 stars if possible!
