Booked a Musky fly-fishing trip with guide Mark and it beyond exceeded my expectations. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and helped set me up for success! He was extremely helpful and patient with teaching me to learn to fly cast. If you haven't fished for musky before the excitement of getting your first musky on a fly rod is a big rush! Got to try out a lot of great spots! I had always done spin rod fishing and had always wanted to try musky fly fishing. Learning the technique to catch one of these huge fish was awesome, since it is so different than regular fishing. Loved trying out the Chippewa River fly rod, which was lightweight, durable, and my arm didn't wear out casting all day. Excited to get a new fly rod set up for Musky! Booking this trip was a great investment, since I probably would have wasted lot extra time and money trying to figure this out on my own. Getting a skilled guide was well worth it! If you haven't been to the shop, it has a phenomenal selection of fly-fishing supplies, and the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. If you haven't made the leap to try fly fishing but have always wanted to try this shop is well worth the trip! I can't wait to learn the craft of tying flies and this shop has everything you need. One of the best things about the shop's location it is perfectly situated near a ton of great fishing spots where you can target different species from native trout, musky, bass, or even make the short drive to Erie to steelhead fish!

The Fly Stop has an incredible inventory and super knowledgeable staff. I came in having never caught a fish on a fly rod and they went above and beyond to point me in the right direction with my rod, flies and places to fish. Top notch fly shop with the best of everything, located a few hundred feet off the Neshanock Creek. I really appreciate their knowledge and Superior Customer Service. Derek has helped me tremendously with picking all the right equipment. If they don't have it, they will get it for you.

This place rocks! They have a ton of fly tying material and gear, and by far, THE best selection of flies that I’ve ever seen! Especially when it comes to Erie Steelhead fishing! Not to mention, their prices are really cheap. I highly recommend you check this place out. Great website as well!

The fly stop

I'm a very avid fisherman with very little experience with a fly rod. So I stopped by because I didn't know how to attach the leader to the line. Not only did the guy working help me out, he showed me how to do it myself and didn't even charge me.
By the way sir if you see this I caught a brook trout and a rainbow because of your help .

This place is great these guys do fly fishing and are very well versed in thier craft! They are very friendly and willing to help out with all fly tying questions as well as the hot flys at the moment! loads of materials for tying as well as the vises to tye on! Check them out if flyfishing is your bag they wont disappoint!
