Exquisite! We had a short stay in September and were delighted by the experience. Our room was so unique and tasteful but the gardens! Magnificent. A work of art. Quiet, peaceful and spotlessly clean, just what we needed!

What a treat! One of the nicest and most unique places we have ever stayed. The staff was lovely, the grounds impeccable, including a well tended rose garden, and our room was clean, spacious and had everything anyone would need. Quiet and peaceful with amazing bedding. Loved it.

We stayed at the Brambles for two nights and it was amazing. The location down at the 800-yr-old-redwood grove was outstanding, the cabin is extremely well maintained and super clean-daily housekeeping was impeccable. The restaurant was extraordinary, as was the shop. The location is super convenient for hikes around Mendocino and enjoy the wines of the region-we will come back! Pricey, but excellent value!

I have stayed at The Madrones 4-5 times a year for the past 10 years. Every time I go up it is such a great experience. Every room is unique and beautifully designed. The beds are comfortable and have lovely linens. Bernadette at the front desk is an absolute joy. The property has a great restaurant (Wickson), dispensary (bohemian chemist) and 2 tasting rooms (Wentworth and long meadow ranch.
Plus there are 3 more wineries all within walking distance of the hotel.

Staying at the Madrones is like being in your own little world. Rooms are large and well apportioned. The onsite restaurant, Wickson, was absolutely delightful. We were lucky enough to be there on Thursday for Locals Night and enjoyed delicious lobster rolls. Brian one of the owners was helpful with reservations and accommodations. Bernadette, the onsite manager, was attentive, friendly and helpful with all our needs. We enjoyed having the onsite tasting room. If visiting Anderson Valley, I highly recommend this property. It has been about 10 years since I last stayed at Madrones, and I will return again when able.

What a fabulous hidden gem! This is a truly spectacular property in a magical valley. I organized a weekend getaway for myself and 12 girlfriends and we had an amazing time exploring the area. The Madrones offered a truly unique and unforgettable experience with their onsite wine tasting room and cannabis apothecary. Something for everyone! 🙂 The staff was incredibly responsive and knowledgeable, and the rooms are extremely welcoming and tastefully designed/appointed. The onsite restaurant, Wickson, is also incredible! Can't say enough good things about this place. Looking forward to returning, next time with my husband for a romantic getaway.

We loved this place. We went in February 2023 and knew ahead of time that many of the local places were closed and that service would be limited, but we needed a quiet retreat. the grounds are lovely, we only heard one other person and listened to birds and nature. We had booked a private tasting at the Lichen Estate, which is nearby. This was fantastic. the Accommodations at the Madrones were quite comfortable and lovely. We stayed in the Kitchen Room, which was large and commodious. The beds were comfy, the heat was perfect. I would definitely visit again.|

Just spent the weekend at this amazing place, and wanted to write the review right away. The inn is lovely, the rooms were fantastic, the sheets, the amenities etc. were each worthy of special mention. The restaurant and service in the restaurant were excellent, some of the best food I can remember. Also, the cannabis shop had such amazing help, and high quality products, alltogether making for an incredible stay. ||There was a lot of nice things to see and do in the area as well, highly reccommend a lond weekend here.
