As an African American, I don't always encounter distrust of store/boutique personnel but I will say this... It's interesting that when we first came in all of the associates were behind the counter yet within 5 short minutes they all convene near where my (grown) Daughter and I were shopping... Just a casual observation from someone that frequently visits shops and boutiques. On to my review!

Nice store located in the Cross Creek shopping area of Malibu this boutique is perfect for your gift-shopping needs. Greeting Cards, Bath & Body products, extensive Candle selections, Linens, Jewelry, etc., etc. They did a lovely wrap for the candle I purchased.

If I'm being honest, I'd say the initial welcome tainted my experience. We sorta felt like they were uncomfortable with our browsing... sorta like they were suspicious of our visit. Meh, I HOPE it was just me and that isn't the reception they demonstrate when other P.O.C. enter.

Delightful unique quality items for sale by very knowledgeable and not at all pushy staff eho remember your name and treat you more like a guest but with respect of a client. Beautiful bed lines, huge range of aromatic candles, fine unusual jewelry you wont find elsewhere that they guarantee, and friendly staff in a cultivated atmosphere. Drop in just to see everything on display without feeling crowded yet so much choice.

This is one of my favorite stores in Malibu. The perfect place to pick up a gift for a friend or family member who is difficult to shop for. They provide tasteful gift wrapping upon request. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Every time I stop in I am delighted.
