My wife and I stay in luxury properties all over the world and our standards are quite high. When trying a new place I often leave feeling underwhelmed. I'm pleased to report that The Pacific Motel in Cayucos not only met but exceeded our expectations across a number of categories. First and foremost, this place is extremely clean! And this is not to say that the room was doused with bleach and received a cursory vacuum. To the contrary! What I'm saying is that every inch, every single nook and cranny, is spotlessly fresh and clean. We found not a single trace of the room's former occupants. Secondly, the beds, linens and room amenities are absolutely on par with what we typically find at 5-star hotels. We also appreciated the excellent coffee served each morning--apparently it's a custom blend by a master roaster in Paso Robles. Prior to checking out we had the pleasure of meeting the motel owner and hearing about The Salty Tiger, a speakeasy slated to open this spring on the property. Looking forward to a return trip in the fall to enjoy the gorgeous beach weather and more of what The Pacific has to offer. Take note, savvy travelers--this place is not to be missed!

My husband and I had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Pacific Motel. The Pacific is an adorable beachside motel that has been thoughtfully renovated to be the nicest place in Cayucos. Every detail was just spot on! From the cool decor, super comfortable bed and the nice bathroom, to the fun outside area and of course, The Salty Tiger bar. We enjoyed every aspect and everyone we met was helpful and welcoming. Thanks for an awesome stay! We will be back.

Been coming to this gem of a boutique motel since they opened in 2022 and it NEVER disappoints! In fact it literally just keeps getting better...they have added the cutest, coolest bar "The Salty Tiger" with fab drinks and treats. I have brought my sister, daughter, best friend and hubby and everyone raves and ends up returning on their own! What a gift the entire Pacific Motel team are...warm, friendly, accommodating, and fun. Thank you to Anna and Lacey for your lovely ways of interacting with us guests! No doubt we will see you again soon!

This place is fantastic! I was here a year ago and returned a few days ago. It's very nice, clean, staff is friendly and very close to the beach - it's barely 3 minutes away if you walk. They even have a cute little bar area where you can get a glass of wine. ||It's a 10/10 for me. The only thing that could make it better is if they had a bidet toilet seat.

A lovely jewel on the Central Coast, this is an amazing place for a quiet getaway.|The property was originally old fisherman's bungalows (stayed there with my grandparents as a kid) that has been upgraded to a delightful boutique motel. Classic travel destination with beautifully appointed rooms and a charming staff. They even have a great little wine/beer bar tucked in.|Early morning at the fire pit with a cup of coffee was a perfect wrap on our weekend before heading home. We already have our reservations for another trip to come back and enjoy...

Cayucos has long been one of our favorite spots on the Central Coast and we were excited to spend a couple nights at The Pacific Motel recently. Our stay could not have been better! We're active people and were thrilled to find there were complimentary bikes and a Ping Pong table. We hiked the Estero Bluff trail, watched the sunset from the pier, had a killer breakfast at Hidden Kitchen (still dreaming about the Big Sur Blue smoothie) and enjoyed a mellow happy hour by the fire pit on Friday night. It was fun to browse the selection of wares in the chic little boutique, including the Fablerune bath and body products stocked in our room (and with which we fell totally in love). I must say, they really thought of everything at this awesome place! It's going to become our new home-away-from-home 🙂

Had the loveliest stay at the Pacific Motel. Don't let the name "motel" fool you as this is definitely a boutique style hotel. The bungolow room was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly styled for a beach side accommodation. On top of that everything was in immaculate! The staff was super welcoming and very helpful. It def felt like we were making new friends. A visit to the Salty Tiger is a must! Additionally, the location is perfect to explore this quaint little town. Good chill vibes all around. ?
