Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton in Marina del Rey was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we arrived, the impeccable service and attention to detail made us feel truly special. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always greeting us with warmth and professionalism.

The room was luxurious and beautifully designed, offering stunning views of the marina that added a serene touch to our stay. Every amenity was thoughtfully provided, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The property itself is exquisite, with its elegant decor, peaceful ambiance, and well-maintained facilities.

We also enjoyed the dining options, where each meal was crafted with care and bursting with flavor. The waterfront location is unbeatable, offering the perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility to nearby attractions.

Our time at The Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey exceeded all expectations, and we can’t wait to return. A true haven of luxury and exceptional hospitality.

Despite raging wildfires only a handful of mikes away, this Ritz Carlton absolutely lives up to its formerly excellent reputation. From arrival to moving into our room took only minutes — at noon, well before official check-in time. The place is wonderfully located, well-kept and standard room are spacious and well appointed. From doormen to reception desk personnel and from restaurant staff to cleaning crews, this is the best Ritz stay we’ve had in years.

Stayed here for the Marina Del Rey New Year's Eve fireworks and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, and the staff were super friendly. Everyone is ready to go above and beyond.

They also have a very nice pickleball court—too bad I didn’t get a chance to use it. The room service food was surprisingly great—I wish I had ordered more!

The only minor downside was the hairdryer, which seemed a bit old.

Beware of false upgrades. I am a platinum BonVoy member and have stayed for decades at this hotel. I was offered an upgrade to a larger room with 2 queen beds if I paid $80 more per night. I accepted because my son was coming and is 6 ft 4 inches and needs a larger bed. When we arrived they said they do not have rooms with 2 queen beds and that I was the fifth person that day to mention this. They only had double beds ‘rooms . . I reported this discrepancy to Marriott. They responded quickly saying they would train their staff in this issue but offered no refund for the additional money paid for the upgrade to queen beds. |Many better hotels to stay in in the LA area and realize now that the Ritz is no longer the caliber of what it used to be before Marriott bought it. You can do MUCH better elsewhere if you want to stay at a true luxury hotel.|In addition, be aware that valet parking was $63 per night. It is only $6/ 24 hour directly across the street.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The friendly staff and exceptional service sets this hotel apart from others and makes me want to return.

At check-in, Shantel was thorough and patient with us as she explained our reservations and the benefits we were entitled to during our stay. Unexpectedly, since we are Bonvoy Gold members, our stay came with 1 hour of free pickleball(including equipment), a complimentary one hour tour of the marina with a local guide, and the hotel's highest level of wifi at no extra charge. We utilized all these EXTRAS and were very satisfied.

We had also booked this room as through AMEX fine hotels and were upgraded from partial marina view to a full marina view with a balcony.

Within minutes of arriving in the room, someone from the kitchen staff arrived at our door with warm cookies. YUM!

I had previously mentioned to the hotel we were celebrating my birthday. They went above and beyond to make me feel special.
The room was decorated with confetti and balloons. Also, upon returning to the room after a sunset walk, we found in our room a beautiful charcuterie board with fruits and cheese and icing piped Happy Birthday message on the board. WOW!

The room was comfortable and clean and the bed slept well but i could tell it was an older building/room. The shower water pressure was AMAZING. The bath products were Diptyque products.

Back to the great service....EVERY single person...the outdoor pool/lawn guy, the spa/gym ladies, the bellhop, the hotel restaurant hostess and waitstaff....were all friendly and often went the extra mile to help us or honor our requests.

We stopped here for an afternoon refreshment after a long walk from the Santa Monica Pier. We did not stay here. The hotel is lovely. The attentiveness of staff from the front door to the restaurant is outstanding. The view over the harbor is eye candy for boat lovers. It was a delightful respite after a busy day.

Enjoyed our stay on a family trip to the area. From valet parking to checkin and checkout, every interaction with staff was professional and thoughtful. I had a birthday that day and was pleasantly surprised at the balloons, cake, and extra touches that went into our stay. The LAX airport is also a 15 min drive away so it made it convenient to stay so close to the airport. Rather than stay at an airport hotel, the Ritz Marina Del Rey is the better option!

Exceptional service. Lovely area to walk around the marina. Would definitely return!
