As soon as I walked in I was welcomed, and asked if I had been there before. It was my first time so Daniel showed me around. There’s so many finds for decorating. If the customer service is great and they have what I need all always rather support a small business 100% Will be coming here again.

More solar cooking experiments. Today I'm trying out two things.

The first is a high altitude cake mix made by a local baking supply shop, the Specialty Shop. Just add water and go. I'm using half of the bag of their white cake mix today.

The second try out is the GoSun Sport solar oven. I used mini silicone molds that fit into the tube and filled them about three fourths with the batter. The outside temp was about 72°at the time.

The little cakes easily baked within 30-40 minutes when I did the toothpick test. I let them cool for about 15 minutes before cutting one in half.

The texture is nice and tight, but light at the same time. Just like I like it. The taste is wonderful too. It has the right balance of taste, texture, moisture, firmness.

My conclusion. The GoSun Sport does a wonderful job of baking. And the Specialty Shop's high altitude cake mix is easy to use (just add water) and produces a good cake. It's a great product.

Definitely a camping contender.
