Great place to stop for a beer or quick lunch in Murphys. Incredible beer selection and surprisingly great bar food! The patio is a quaint spot to enjoy the creek.

Creative takes on standard fare and always absolutely delicious! If you’re a Brew aficionado, this is definitely a must try! Definitely my first choice for lunch or dinner when I’m in the area. For those with people friendly and socialized pets, The Watering Hole has an outdoor dining area that’s (leashed) pet friendly. Excellent food and amazing desserts. Kudos to the Chef and the friendly staff. Highly recommend and worth a drive for the big tree scenery.

In Murphy's California you'll find the fairly new establishment. It is a great place for lunch or dinner. Not only do they have one of the widest selections of draft beer on tap in the area, but their selection of single serve canned/bottled beer and wine available is hard to wrap your head around. That alone was enough to keep me coming back. Their food is expertly crafted under the supervision of an incredibly talented chef. The menu will change from time to time based on the chef's inspiration so it does keep your experience fresh. Most entrées do not come with a side so be sure to ask and keep in mind the portions for their sides are typically portioned well enough to split. Great outdoor area and it looks as though there is a place fir someone to perform outside, however it was not the case when we visited there. Enjoy this great place

Let me start by saying the atmosphere upon entering was not very inviting at all. God forbid you ask a question about the menu or have a name that’s too much trouble to “even try to spell out”. Even after the initial negative introduction my group continued to dine there because it’s a place we had been excited to visit for awhile. Being that we were a big group we did try to put together two tables so we could be with each other. Honestly they’re not very heavy and we didn’t want to bother the staff since they obviously have a bad attitude towards their customers. This was further proven correct when the bartender aggressively yelled at us to put the table back. Let me emphasize AGGRESSIVE. After we put the table back he continued to talk about our party to other employees making it very obvious by gesturing towards us ,making us feel even more uncomfortable.I’m definitely not one to leave negative reviews but this place obviously needs to incorporate some type of workshop for their employees on how to correctly and politely address/interact with their customers and based off responses to reviews similar to mine the owner needs some lessons as well. Don’t own restaurant if you don’t know how to take accountability for disrespectful employees.

*By the way thank you to the owner for responding in a manner that only further proves my point of him not being accountable for the rudeness of his employees and totally disregarding the other problems I mentioned. I love being right.

We stopped in here after looking at a wedding venue for daughter. The service was fast and friendly. My chicken sandwich was good. Not dry and It was seasoned well. Looks like they have a good selection of bears and ciders.

I never leave a review anywhere I go but the disrespect from the male bartender after attempting to move a table was astounding. It costs nothing to be respectful to your patrons even if they may be upsetting you, especially when we would have had no problem moving the table back at the end. I will definitely not be coming back & would not recommend this place to others. The food wasn't anything special anyways, save your time & go somewhere else.

Do you like beer? If so, you are now wasting your time reading this. Get down to the Watering Hole and start your voyage. You will have your hands full making a selection while looking at literally a hundred plus choices. The food was solid as well. The building itself was done very well, and if you are a craftsman, you will enjoy some of the details found within the building. There is outdoor seating along a creek, which is super cool as well. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
