Well, we tried to use this company. Paid a deposit to have work done on our kitchen and were really excited. When asked about a start date so we could plan accordingly, we were given a date. The morning of, we received a text saying they were a week behind schedule and wouldn't be able to start. It was frustrating to hear of the delay at the very last minute but we understand that these things happen. The following week, we text the owner to confirm the new start date and we simply get a response "I will refund your deposit, not going to be able to work into schedule". No explanation, no apology, just can't make it happen. Tells us he will bring us our deposit the next afternoon. Now it's 6pm the next evening and he still hasn't brought our deposit. After a lot of back and forth, he tells us we won't get an apology because "Your fingers are the reason I canceled." We simply asked when he could do the work we had paid a deposit for. We did eventually get our deposit back after having to meet his wife at a parking lot to make the exchange. Incredibly poor professionalism and business practices.
