We had to hustle some to find an available A section 30 amp slot since that area was mostly filled. The park rangers were helpful in getting us accommodated. For as many campers that were hooked up there, the area was surprisingly quiet and comfortable. Everyone we encountered there was friendly. Set-up was easy and power/water connections were reliable. There was plenty to see and do around the area, and having town close by was convenient.

I’m sure there are plenty of great experiences to have here but I was surprised to have my first Thousand Trails stay to be lack luster. Much to my surprise when I arrived, I was only allowed to choose from four different sites and none of which were in great locations. I made these reservations under the impression I would get to choose any open spot. All of the wonderful views are up in the 50 amp sections if you want those spots you have to call the park directly ahead of time. I was in H section my neighbor who is a long-term resident of the place is very nice. Everyone has been very friendly. There is a very loud resident across the way who stands outside a talks all day long to anyone who passes by. The clubhouse is like stepping back in time. It’s kind of like sixth grade camp very disappointed that the pool balls had to be checked out with a credit card up at the guard shack but you can take the golf balls and clubs at any time. The playground is very sad so if you have kids, there’s not much for them to do here. The dog park is an empty sandlot and the large dog park used to be RV storage I believe, so it’s just an empty lot. I hope the rest of my experiences with thousand trails is a little more worthy of the price I’m paying for a membership.

Sedona is one of our favorite hiking destinations, offering breathtaking scenery and well-maintained trails. Verde Valley TT, conveniently located just 23 miles away, makes access to this stunning area a breeze. Plus, its proximity to Jerome and Cottonwood adds to the appeal—Cottonwood has everything you need, from grocery stores to dining and shopping options.||||The friendly staff created a welcoming atmosphere, and the weekly craft sale was a wonderful touch. The only downside was the poor cell coverage, but that didn’t overshadow the experience. We’ll definitely be returning!

This is a nice TT. It is a large campground and the new RV sites are huge and they have great views! But they were all taken. We stayed in the older part of the campground and it was OK. The old sites could use some clean up, but overall the campground is well kept. The recreational buildings are well kept and really clean. We also like that the Ranger gives you a map with a list of the open campsites when you arrive so you don't have to drive around figuring it out on your own. That makes it much easier finding a spot since they don't assign spots.

This is a VERY comfortable RV Resort! We went for our annual first outing of the year and it was perfect! Off the highway so it’s quiet and beautiful views of Sedona red rocks, San Fransisco peaks…just lovely! Highly recommended! ||Best time is fall, winter and spring to avoid the heat.

Thousand Trails Verde Valley is definitely one of the best Thousand Trails trails parks that we have been in. The views from the park are absolutely amazing. The park is extremely well maintained, and the staff is absolutely top notch. Highly recommended park! Great location to visit Cottonwood, Jerome, Prescott, and Sedona.

Lots of camping sites to choose from upon arrival, however, many sites are small and the RVs packed in like sardines. It is a a sort of time share/ homeowners association, so many rules and the guards at the gate can be testy, but most were nice. If you want 50 amps your site will most likely be located in the blazing sun, no trees, but nice view.

Lovely park but bad internet and cell service which unfortunately is important to me. Lots of things to do in the area. Sedona and Jerome close and interesting. Lots of great places to eat and hike. Red rocks are gorgeous, and sunsets are not to be missed.
