This is a good restaurant and nice place to stop for clam chowder. Lot of Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds which if fun.

I'm only giving this 2 stars because the staff were really friendly and attentive. The place looks like a hospital cafeteria and the food tastes worse than a school cafeteria while they charge upper end prices. Oysters on the half shell tasted like tap water and my salmon, veggies and rice had no seasoning.

Thank you for the cool dragonfly lantern. Great store. Bought some wooden hand carved spoons,fridge magnets, bracelet, a nice warm blanket for watching the sunset with.

Lovely window table overlooking the bay. Our waiter was quick to our table and brought our wine equally fast. Hubby had delicious cheese burger with fries. I had 3 crab cakes with salad instead of the rice and vegetables. Salad was a little small for the $3.50 up charge. Tartar sauce wasn't good. I used hubby's special sauce that came with his burger. He asked for more and it was brought at no charge. The burger looked so good I wished I had had it instead.

This is one of my favorite places to go for seafood. It's pricey though but so far we were happy with experience. Deluxe starters platter for two, clam chowder in bread bowl and something from the special of the day ? ? also we love their bread when it is fresh and crusty

What I enjoy most about the Tides Restaurant are prices $$ and views of Bodega Bay. On our last visit, I ordered mushroom with cheese omelet and steak fries. And iced tea. My woman ordered a club sandwich with coffee.
Both were good meals. And service was excellent. Total cost was $35. for bay views and good food. Check out a few of my pictures.
