My account got banned and I have no idea why! I tried to watch a video one day and my account automatically went to a message that states “your appeal has been submitted””well notify you by email or inbox notification in the app as soon as we have an update”. “You can also download your data” notification and then logs me out as soon as I hit dismiss the notification. I can not even check if there is a notification from them in the app since it automatically kicks me out every time I try to log in! I have down loaded my data and have sent multiple tickets asking how to get my account back since I had not broke any policy rules. Customer service is non-existent! I can’t create a new account either, because my “banned/suspended” account is linked to my phone number. How long does it take to review an appeal that I didn’t even know I submitted or to even get acknowledged of an open ticket!? It’s been 3 1/2 weeks since my account got suspended/banned. I tried to log into my account again and now I get the notification of “appeal deadline passed” “ you can no longer appeal this decision because the appeal deadline has passed” it only gives me the option to dismiss and once I click dismiss I get automatically logged out as previously with the the appeal submitted notification! I am extremely disappointed with TikTok and the customer service!

After spending 3 years building my account, they banned me. They first suspended my live access, and then restored it after finding no violations. Then they banned it again literally 30 minutes later. Here’s the kicker, it was the SAME topic. I finally found my purpose and was going to start a small business making t-shirts but THEY TOOK THAT FROM ME!!!! They flagged me several times for no reason! And would take weeks to respond.sometimes they would close my tickets without resolution. I feel targeted and I am actively looking for a lawyer.

I had deleted TikTok for a bit last year(don’t remember exactly how long) I had finally decided to download it again and go back to my account, only to find that it was completely different. I can’t find my old account anymore and i’m frustrated and sad. However if i search up my old account it is still there which gives me hope that I can recover it back again or receive it somehow.

Worst experience ever! I ordered my bed frame from them, they then emailed me saying they would need $20 more to give my package a seal or whatever. They gave me options of Zelle or Apple Pay, which I followed and sent the money. The next morning I woke up to my order being cancelled and refunded back. Now I have to wait for 7-14 days to get my money back because these people wannabe irresponsible. Mind y’all they were emailing me at midnight and expected me to be up responding to them. Do not recommend.

I opened up a shop on Tik Tok for my business Bloom Elixirs. In their terms, they wrote that sellers are supposed to be paid by direct deposit 15 days after orders are delivered. I was also told by their customer support via chat that I would be reimbursed for shipping costs. I fulfilled 3 orders, and paid for shipping to the amount to $118.40, and over 3 months later, have not been paid or reimbursed. On the seller's dashboard on the app, it says that I have been paid, however the money has never entered my bank account. Not only that, but increments of money adding up to $55 have been taken out of my account from Tik Tok, unauthorized (half of these payments have been put back in my account by reporting to my bank). I have tried contacting their customer support numerous times, and they give generic messages asking for screenshots of various things, and then close the ticket right after I send them everything they request, leaving the issue to never be resolved. This has taken up a tremendous amount of my time, and I have seen this happen to other sellers recently as well. If you check the "Tik Tok Seller's App" reviews on the App Store, you will see many reviews like mine.

My account says that it will be blocked TOMORROW 02/16/2023 because I am "underage". I've written, emailed, done everything this "app" says to do when this happens. I have also told them that if they need my ID to prove that the information is true, then I will give it to them! I have no problem but NOBODY ANSWERS ME. THEY DO NOT DO ANYTHING. I have been slowly growing my followers! Making content, so that this social network is going to delete my user and they don't even have the decency to respond? NOT WELL. They are supposed to be one of the best social networks of the moment! They SHOULD have EXCELLENT customer service! It's sad that they don't answer or help you!

Unfortunate Experience on TikTok Live: Harassment and Unfair Ban
As an avid user of TikTok, I have enjoyed exploring the platform's creative content and engaging with a diverse community. However, my recent experience with TikTok Live left me disappointed and frustrated due to the lack of effective moderation and an unfair ban.
I recently went live on TikTok to promote my new song, intending to connect with my followers and share my passion for music. Unfortunately, during the live session, I encountered a barrage of offensive comments and harassment from certain users. This behavior was not only hurtful but also disruptive to the intended purpose of the live session.
Feeling the need to defend myself against the offensive remarks, I responded to one comment in an attempt to address the issue. However, instead of providing a safe environment for users, TikTok's response was swift and severe. I was immediately banned and reported, without any consideration for the context or the fact that I was merely standing up against harassment.
This unjust ban not only resulted in the abrupt termination of my live session but also meant that I lost the money I had paid for the live promotion. This financial loss adds insult to injury, as I had invested in TikTok's paid services with the expectation of a fair and supportive platform.
While TikTok has been praised for its entertainment value and viral trends, this incident has revealed a concerning flaw in its moderation system. The platform's failure to address harassment effectively and the disproportionate response in banning users undermines the sense of safety and fairness that should be the cornerstone of any social media platform.
To improve the overall user experience, TikTok needs to prioritize developing more robust and efficient moderation mechanisms. Implementing stricter measures against harassers and providing clearer guidelines for user conduct would be a step in the right direction. Additionally, the platform should ensure that bans and penalties are proportionate and take into account the context of the situation.
While I acknowledge that TikTok has its merits and countless users have positive experiences, it is disheartening to encounter such inadequate support when faced with harassment. As an artist trying to promote my work, I expected better from a platform as popular as TikTok.
Ultimately, my disappointing experience on TikTok Live should serve as a reminder for the platform to strengthen its approach to moderation, providing a safer and fairer environment for all users.
