Tomboy is locally owned, one of a kind store with so many special finds. I took my friends there and one friend was visiting from San Francisco and another friend from Portland, they both fell in love with the store and bought one of a kind items. I love this place for it's cozy cowgirl meets vintage vibes. If you wanna shop for something extra extra like Frye boots, or vintage styles this is the place. Bonus, they have a sign up for their newsletter which will alert you to special events such as their tiny concerts called Tom Boy sessions which will blow your mind! I love this small business and will continue to shop with my friends and family here!

This is a fun place to drive by and check out their window display. In fact, I need to be careful that I don’t go too slow and have somebody hit my car while checking out their pretty stuff in their window.

So, I decided to go inside and check out what they have these days. There’s a lot of eye candy in their shop. Besides new items, they also have gently used. What they have to offer doesn’t look like it comes from a box store.

They have clothing for men and women.

There’s a nice selection of cowboy and cowgirl boots. The store has a southwestern feel to it. Besides clothing, they have bolos and earrings too. I love their soft, fringed leather bags.
I talked with the owner, who was very friendly. She has had the store for over a decade.

There is parking on the street.

Decided to use my gift certificate from Tomboy in Santa Cruz; they have the best buyer of second hand clothing, all curated for maximum fierceness and personality! From belts, jackets, boots, t-shirts, you’ll enjoy browsing through and buying something for yourself or friends! Their philosophy resonates with my soul and you don’t have to love country to appreciate the spirit that all of us have who live in Santa Cruz! Cheers to the owners, what a gem Tomboy is! Thank you! I love my Cure t-shirt and belt. I wanted to buy this great vintage fuzzy sleeved checkered jacket but they didn’t have my size! I’ll be back! Viva La Tomboy, you guys rock!!! ?

Great store & aesthetic! But was very disappointed and confused by what is and is not for sale. Three of the five items (a pair of boots, a portrait and a hat) I intended to buy were not for sale. I just found it odd and confusing to display items along side other merchandise if it's not for sale.

I love this shop SO much! I find something for me every time I stop in. Great gift items, perfect place to find a present for that hard to shop for person. The inventory is always fresh and changing so you discover new things with each visit. Staff is friendly and fun to chat with too!

This store is a dang GEM! It truly has something for EVERYONE (yes, men too!) Besides gorgeous vintage treasures, this shop showcases local artists & jewelers as well as made in the USA items too.
The owner (woman power!) is sooo talented at curating some of the most unique and beautiful pieces in the West!
The staff is always super friendly and helpful, too!
Also, Tomboy has the BEST PRICES. Cowboy boots, turquoise jewelry, Mexican blankets, leather & suede, denim, gifts, hats, decor...so much radness!
If you are in Santa Cruz for any reason, do yourself a favor and stop here before you do anything else!
Run, don’t walk to this diamond of a shop!
