The Trading Post in Paoli, PA is located toward the end of the Main Line. It's a two-floor consignment shop which supports the Fox Chase Cancer Center. Most of what you will find is in the nature of clothes, luggage, shoes, and some home decorations. But on the second floor there is an excellent selection of used books. I didn't note much in the way of genre fiction the day I visited, but they carried some older titles by major 20th century authors. I saw a few hardbound books by Herman Wouk. The staff was helpful and friendly.

I was very disappointed with the customer service/cashier on 12/20/12. The cashier was rude to each and every customer. I had thought about volunteering at the store, but I know I couldn't subject myself to an atmosphere like that. I stop at the shop on a regular basis, but I doubt whether I'll go back...it was that bad.

I know the people at the Palm Tree wouldn't stoop to treating the customers that way.

With all that is going on in this world (Sandy Hook) you would think that people would appreciate life.

poor! Cashier is very rude, to customers, as well as hateful to other employees and volunteers. I assumed the stumpy, grey-hair woman with a pixie haircut is in charge? If she had a reality show, it would be named..
LARGE MARGE IN CHARGE (so shut-up)! Needless to say, I left without making a purchase.
