Such an incredible retail store, a rare find in today's changing market. So glad my kids could experience this toy store experience. There were so many unique items & the prices were very fair. The owner was very nice and friendly at checkout, it's sad to see the poor ratings. You must check out this small business when you're in town. We will definitely be stopping in on each future trip. I wish they had an online store for between trips.

I would rate the store "zero stars" but had to give a rating to leave a review. The lady working didn't have good customer service skills and didn't welcome customers or ask if they needed help. She was on the phone. She didn't offer to help an individual using a mobility device. Also, a major concern is her store isn't accessible for individuals using mobility devices. Aisles are not wide, there's at least once step customers need to climb, and merchandise is cluttered around. Not an ADA friendly shop! I don't know Mammoth's handicap accessible codes but this shop seems to be in violation. Not sure what Mammoth can do to make the shop layout easier for individuals with disabilities or special needs? Ramps in the store or one level would be helpful without items cluttering aisles. She also doesn't like "repeat" customers and keeps track of whose been in her store before. When the customer returns to buy a item and look at other items, says "You already looked at the whole store once...". Very rude. Beware.

The lady or those who work with her, remove part of the hang tags on Douglas toys. Toy collectors like the original tags on items they purchased. By her removing, ripping, or cutting off the rest of the tag, could cause the items to lose value. Not sure if she does this on the Jellycat or other brands of toys? The toys are expensive and missing part of the original hang tags. It should be the customers' discretion to keep or remove a hang tag. Not her or those who work there.

Overall: bad customer service, overpriced for incomplete merchandise, and make store ADA compliant and accessible.

Worst toy shop I have ever encountered! Kids does scream that doesn’t mean you can comment on what kind of stuff we buy for him at the end of the day . Old lady at the counter is very rude ! I haven’t seen this kind of behavior. Commenting on my 3 year old is very rude and unprofessional and not okay !

My kids love this store!! It has the best and widest range of stuffed animals of any place I’ve ever seen. Great for gifts or just to let the kids pick something out. Wide range of options for any budget. The stuffed animals are very reasonably priced. They have other toys and quite a bit of clothing also. Very good curated store.

The staff is very nice and friendly. On low season the hours can vary, but that is how every shop runs in Mammoth.

The customer service lady was just mean and rude! She talks to everyone like that. Check other reviews about her behavior. She yelled at one lady to stop touching everything in her store and told her to put back things from where they were picked. I was shocked at her behavior and the other lady she was yelling at apologized and left. I also left after her. So disrespectful!!!

I see the reviews on the rudeness of the person working the desk, but I have purchased from this store at least 25 times and have never had that experience. The store can vary in hours open, but in the small town of mammoth during slow times its probably too expensive to keep open if they aren't making sales. The village is very expensive, hence all the businesses that come and go. I’m happy they survive. I shopped there twice yesterday and the owner Was friendly. Just wanted to view how I see this cute store. I wish zi owned it.

Best boutique toy store!
My daughters love going every time we are in Mammoth. High quality toys, games, crafts and clothing. I agree with Louis (last post).
The owner is kind and takes pride in her shop-she also has another business to run. Please be understanding to small business owners.
We LOVE Trendy Tots and do hope it stays opens.
My 6 year old says, ‘It’s the best store EVER!’
