I’ve been to the General Store in Two Harbors a few times and always love to come back and poke around their cool gifts and quirky keepsakes.There’s really a lot of cool gifts - not the regular printed shell type stuff you see in other beach towns - but actually well curated and thought out gifts with a range of prices. In fact, they have a much more interesting selection than most of the places in Avalon. Every year I’m back they have cool new t-shirts, caps and hoodies – although a little on the pricier side they are still worth the memory.

This time I needed some food and was surprised to see the produce was really fresh and not too expensive - I think an onion was 50c which is pretty good. The ice is a bit expensive though and the booze too - but I drink PBR so I didn’t have to worry about that one too much lol

The staff are always super friendly and make you feel like a local and their early morning coffee setup is the perfect stop before a walk with my dogs.

Love this store and love seeing it get better and better and continually adding new things to the place

I got a nasty bee sting over the weekend and it started swelling up around 930 ish at night. I had gone over to the ticket/guest service booth and asked if anyone had Benadryl. They did not, but they called the manager of the store who came over personally, walked me to the store and let me purchase some way after they had closed for the night. I can't even say how much I appreciated that. Amazing folks that truly care about their customers! Thank you!!!!

Has vegan meat alternatives à la beyond / impossible, as well as plant based backpacking / camping meals. In general, items are a bit pricy but the meat alternatives cost comparable to Los Angeles prices. There’s also vegan snacks, a small but decent produce section, and tons of booze options 🙂
