Was visiting from out of town over the weekend and usually stop by Serramonte to do some shopping, specifically Uniqlo and some other select stores. Less than 10 seconds in the door and security was very noticeably following me around. I understand that he was just doing his job, however it made me feel very uncomfortable and like I couldn't really browse/shop like I had wanted. Was basically followed throughout the store until I checked out with the 2 items I had picked up. The employees were nice, just wish I could have shopped more without being watched like a hawk.

I like uniqlo for their socks, airism drawers and most recently airism joggers. The Serramonte store is pretty big and well organized and neat. The self checkout is pretty straightforward, but they also have enough people to help you check out if the lines are getting long. Good quality and updated clothes. Not exactly the most interesting fashion, but it gets the job done!

WARNING TO US ALL !!!
September 20, 2021
I bought a top and two days later came in this Serramonte store to exchange for a better size. I was told;
No Receipt then No Return, No Exchange, No Credit even item was paid with credit card and all tags still in place.
So sad 😞 At one of my favorite stores the return policy is 20 years backward.
One star for the policy but five stars for the employee who kindly and patiently gave me the bad news.

I love Heattech shirts the only ones I buy, but how to get them to last more than 5 washes before stretching out. Thinking I'm going to have to hand wash from now on and put on my delicate gloves. Other than that, the prices are pretty expensive for plastic clothing.

I very much love uniqlo but yesterday I walk in and I hear the the employees talking to each other about someone stealing and then I get two pants to try it out In the fitting room, then I leave I the fitting looking at other things but I only picked out a shirt and jogger, and then as I’m about go to self check out a security guard who was my friend told me that they pointed me out for stealing and saying I had hella stuff and taking the tags out in the fitting room but had two items the guy who even walks you into the fitting room checked, and I was just laughing about it because I was so confused because I had no intentions of stealing. Then I go to self check out a girl checks my items when there’s another guy next to me and doesn’t put her hands all into his stuff like she did to mine I was just so confused on why she did all that. And when walking out the guy was just staring at me like I just stole something, just very disappointed that this happened to me because I love Uniqlo literally most of my clothes come from there.

Don't walk into this store quickly. I had a mission to buy an Ultra Light Down, and zoomed in. I think one of the sales people thought I was going to steal something and literally ran to me shouting "Can I help you with something?" It was a bit unpleasant, but I had to complete the mission.

I always wander through this store and never find anything to buy. This time wasn't any exception. The store was bright and nice, and the staff was helpful. There were a few items I was excited about but they didn't stock my size.

I think this store is best for their main staples. Things like puffer jackets? I'm not sure.
