La Cocina Vallarta is a traditional mercado or super mercado like those found throughout Mexico. They are bringing the true flavors from many of the states down South known for their culinary tradition. Many of the dishes we were served at parties and family gatherings that were once considered peasant food have now been acknowledged by some of the top chefs in the world as delicacies for the complex flavors and techniques. Lengua (beef tongue), birria, menudo, mole poblano. You will find these and many other dishes here along with a great carniceria, panaderia, fresh fish and mariscos used to make amazing ceviche. They also have a cremeria serving fresh cheeses and cremas. Their Cocina is serving up the best chicharon, carnitas and Pollos any way you like. You won't be disappointed.

I like the market and they Always have good meat quality, today i parked and I was sitting in my car for a second looking for my phone , I heard knocking on my window . I looked up there' was a lady in a blue soccer jersey looked like to me she kept pointing at an old Honda odyssey broken down and her husband was there with hood up .. she wouldn't leave and she kept telling me to help her husband, I got scared and left . Ladies beware idk what the motive was it was around 445pm . I dont need to help a grown man and a woman they can call a tow truck , what was I gonna do ? This is how people get scammed or kidnapped. She got really angry with me after I told her no . She wouldn't leave my car . I heard about people doing this they act like they have car problems and try n kidnap you by sending a woman to lure you . Ladies please be careful .

My complaint is this year, the cocina is skimping on the quality of their food, particularly the tamales. So dry and hardly any filling. Inflation is a problem but if I’m going to pay more, would like my $$$ worth.

Rude, lazy,management and cashier will always argue with a customer. Just tired of such horrible service. The more the years go by the wise it gets. Very disappointed. Been s customer for a long time and I'm tired of explaining it away
