Along Highway 1 in Sonoma County is the pleasant town of Valley Ford and there is a nice upscale country store there worth your stop should you need supplies for your picknic-king or just a place to get some food and much more.

This smart looking store has a lot of choices for wine, a nice well-stocked veggie section, all the stuff you'd find as a small corner store, a deli where fresh sandwiches and food are made, and best of all, a small ice cream counter. I suppose I admit that I'm an ice cream lover and they serve the Rainbow brand, a San Francisco product.

It is a great joint, clean and everything is nicely presented. It's a great place should you need a place to take a break from your drive, stretch your legs and at the very least, a bathroom stop.

This is a nice small market which seemed to have everything you need. The meats looked fresh. A bit on the pricy side but when your in the middle of nowhere its to be expected.

Clean and organized market in Vally Ford. I stop by on the way while following my travel itinerary. We stop by for brunch at Estro cafe and this store is next to that. It has all essential items from even fire log.

I took veggie produce from here was fresh. Cashier was friendly.

We recently stopped in to the Valley Ford Market, a great grocery spot smack dab in the center of downtown Valley Ford. Don't let the compact exterior fool you, they've packed a great grocery store into this place, as well as a sandwich and ice cream counter. The aisles are neatly stocked and has something for everything, whether you're stocking the pantry or just stopping while on the road, this is a great place for a pit stop on your way to the coast.

This place has a new owner. It is absolutely adorable inside. They have fresh pastries ice cream sandwiches wine. Anything that you would need on your way to the beach. It's a must check in and see.

This is a terrific place to get some food and drink supplies before you arrive to the Fort Ross State Historic Park, CA. In the back of the store there are two portable toilets available, for customers only.

This place gets my 5 star review. It was a gem on our little trip up the coast. We stopped in for some coffee and the old lady behind the counter fixed us up some of the best coffee we had the whole trip. Places like this are beautiful, hopefully my travels bring me back.

I am a local and I have not been in the store for a few months. Wow!!! It was like going into a high end grocery store! Don’t go by any of the pictures as of my review. It has completely changed! Much, much more selection and the prices are really good for the area. I’m really impressed!
