Village Market is such a nice place to have in downtown Clayton. They are always very friendly and outgoing! Not to mention the vast alcohol selection, on top of the lengthy Candy isle and those misc things you don’t want to travel to the grocery store for. OH! And the dedicated Haagen Dazs freezer - come on! Great selection on everything for a small market, even have smoky treats. They definitely add value to the small town feel!!
Highly recommend stopping by. You’ll leave with a smile. I do! = )

Mid-size grocery market. Better value than your average convenience store. Owner and employees are polite, attentive and treat their clients with respect. Nice selection of wine and spirits. Liquor sizes from 40mm to 1/2 gallon. Cigarettes are cheaper than most local convenience stores. Also have fountain drinks, slushies, hot coffee, etc. Lotto as well.

Best supplies for music in the park, picnic with kids or shmoopy, lucky scratchers, super cold drinks, and did I mention incredibly nice people who work there, run the show, even customers are friendly.

Can't say enough about this place, perfect spot to get last second items without having to leave clayton.

Prices are a little high, but fair for the convenience of not having to leave town. Best part though is the beer selection, they have an awesome selection of craft brews from all over.

Owner is open to special orders as well if there's enough interst that it makes sense. He's also always more then helpful if you can't make up your mind or find something ...

Owner scratched my grandmother’s windshield for parking in his lot for under 15 minutes without buying anything from his store. He accuses all kids of stealing and swears around them and at them. Nice hired help but awful ownership.

You're basic Corner liquor and small grocery store. A little better selection than your average 7-Eleven. And a fairly impressive collection of bottle of liquor.

They need to hire employees who aren’t as lazy. They always close early without any reason. I just came in and watched them lock the door as I was walking up 15 minutes before close.
