Alex has been promoting and selling natural wine longer than many of today's natural wine fans have been alive! Passionate, knowledgeable, has a great shop for browsing and tasting, and a bargain 2-bottle per month wine club which always pleases and often surprises.

Vineyard Gate has been an honest wine trailblazer in Millbrae for over 20 years. Their frequently updated selections are delicious and alive. I started as a wine club member a few years ago. The more than affordable club includes two bottles a month, discounts for purchases, and insightful notes about producers. Alex pours vast knowledge of the trade into his original summaries. Great wine/sake selection, canned fish and olive oil. Alex is very friendly and is very knowledgeable about everything he stocks. You can get Togo from wonderful Chinese and come here to drink wine with your food!
