Stopped by yesterday in the evening to pick up a few things, and the store is great! They have a great selection of food and other items. The staff is really friendly, helpful and welcoming. This will be the only store I'll shop from if I'm on the 395 again. The 2 employees who were work at 7pm YOU BOTH ARE AMAZING! THANK YOU! DEFINITELY TRY THE FRESH COOKIES THEY HAVE! SUPER YUMMY!!!

Loved it. Asked them to do a request for me. They got back to me as soon as they found out. Had to make another inquiry to someone else.

Great selection, worth a visit after Walker Burger stop. Eggs, tons of milk, fresh produce, great vibes. Good selection of Haagen Daz ice cream even. Propane also at reasonable prices. Wonderful asset for the area.

Nice little store. We were out of food and got everything we need for two meals. They obviously focus on non perishable food items but still had a decent selection and even some fresh vegetables.

The best general store anywhere in this area for groceries and personal items. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, with a family run vibe.

Prices will be higher than you're used to, but remember where you are - it will cost you $20+ in gas to go elsewhere.

I was amazed at how well stocked they keep this place for being a remote mountain town! I spent about a month camping in Toiyabe National forest, and this place had all the groceries I needed. They even have a (very limited) supply of meat and produce! They also fill propane, but only between noon and 4pm, if I remember correctly.

Its not like you really have much choice of where to shop in this area, but even if you did, you should go here. One of my favorite small-town general stores, and I RV full time and have seen 45 states!

Hello I'm Kenneth Pass. After unpacking from the move here from los Angeles i was really thirsty so drove into town and found the Walker General Store to have so many items other than the usual Pepsi and chips. You can get a seasonal fishing license ! Can't wait for the snow to melt. Most of all what i like about the Walker General Store is the family-like smiles and the feeling of being close to home which is one of the reasons i moved here . Thank you Walker General Store.
