When you step into Whales and Friends it's hard not to fall in love with the store. They have Alameda Island, San Fransisco and California Gifts. They have the most beautiful clothes selection from Paris and fabulous Hats. The new location is right in front of See's Candy.

Wanted to leave some love for Karen. She helped me find some amazing gifts for my wife. There’s a lot to like about this shop. Really cool turquoise jewelry, clothes and house wares. 11/10 would recommend to check out their stock if you’re looking for a great gift… especially if your significant other is a Frida Kahlo fan. I finally was able to visit, since I always try to visit on a Monday when they're closed. They have a variety of gifts and knick-knacks, a few with local themes. Since it's currently October, they had a lot of Halloween themed items. The staff is nice. They disinfect your credit card after the transaction. They had limited edition free string cats.

What a fun store. It’s been years since I visited & it’s just as wonderful as I remember. Amazing amount of diverse & unique merchandise with wonderful sales ladies. I hope to return for more goodies soon.

its a nice place ! i bought 3 crystal jars from there however i'm quite suspicious as they were extremely cheap (1.99 each) and the rose quartz is a tad bit too bright and almost looks counterfeit. the lady was nice but she also kept looking at my friend weirdly, the stuff is interesting but it's good to check the crystals before you buy

I finally visited here today after walking past them so many times, they have such a large variety of interesting and cute gifts, I ended up purchasing a couple lavender items. The staff are friendly and nice, 5 stars.

Charming store. Stopped in after dinner and found some beautiful local crafted jewelry and soap for gifts. The ladies working were friendly and fun to chat with while they were wrapping g my gifts. Thank you!
