Stopped by for lunch after work, ordered the pickle fries as an appetizer and the 1/2 pound burger with cheese. The service was prompt and friendly and the food very good. Burger was cooked to perfection (medium rare) and the pickle fries, though not what I was expecting, were very good as well. Not overly dripped with grease. The spicy ranch was a good pairing. Will be back.

Great ministry and extremely nice people. The cafe is clean and has lots of room for large families or groups. That is the positives. The negatives are the menu is very limited, there are no kid meals, and the food is not great. It took a little over an hour to get our food after we ordered and they were not busy. My order was wrong and was never made right. The food came out cold. My eggs and biscuits were literally cold to the touch. The pancakes were the thinnest pancakes I have ever seen and didn’t taste good at all. I would not recommend this place. The food is subpar and the prices are outrageous. $86 which averaged out to about $20 a person. NOT WORTH IT!!!!!

We recently made a trip to Batesville, Arkansas, for business and had the pleasure of dining at the Whistle Stop Cafe! First off, the restaurant was beautifully landscaped and impressively clean outside. The inside of the cafe was equally inviting and well-maintained.

Now, let's talk about the food—it was outstanding! As a burger enthusiast, I've sampled many great burger spots in and around the Houston area, but the double 1/3-pound burger I ordered at the Whistle Stop truly put those to shame. It was massive, cooked to perfection, and undoubtedly one of the best burgers I've ever had!

However, the highlight of our meal was the staff. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, making our experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend The Whistle Stop Cafe to anyone looking for a fantastic meal in a welcoming atmosphere!

This Quant Cafe was so sweet and inviting. From the porch to the wonderful setting of a warm open fire. The Aviance was so appealing. The food was so wonderful. Large portions made me feel right at home. The homemade gravy to the very tasteful Denver omelet to having some of my husband's wonderful large pork chops that were cooked perfectly browned and can't forget to mention the great cup of coffee. And our wonderful server Mattie. I hope I got that right. So sweet. Was a great first experience. We are new to Batesville Arkansas. We will definitely make this one of our new go to places to eat. Next we would like to try lunch. Thx Whistle Stop.

Awesome little restaurant with some good “home cooking”. We were seated next to the fireplace and it was so cozy. Definitely recommend.
