It was good to find a hardware store in town. Pretty decent selection. My issue is that some employees there were discussing their political views and saying all kinds of nonsense that to them may not sound racist. Won't be going back I'd guess supporting local small businesses is not always such a great idea.

The bad customer service is completely unnecessary. You walk in, you feel like you’re trespassing. Place is old and dusty. Didn’t realize I’d encounter the unfunny version of Statler and Waldorf. Come here with caution if you must, avoid conversation unless you want unsolicited political rants. Un-inviting

It was my 1st visit and I was so surprised that they had the rare and hard to find things I asked about. They were quick and helpful. I'm going to be telling my friends about them.

Wow!! That’s all that can be said. If their even open, trying to get help is sketchy at best, god forbid if those boys are on a rant about something, then there’s no help at all! Saw them yelling at at woman because she wasn’t sure about what she needed, I mean shouting!! No one should ever yell at a woman. Jack wagons. All that standing around complaining about anything and the store looks and smells terrible. Selection is also hit or miss, had to wipe the dust off my purchase. Home Depot has its faults but, your just not worth the convenience. Yeah it has that small town feel, just wish it wasn’t Moorpark’s small town hardware store.
Boys it’s time to retire.

This place is terrible. It smells like a combination of insecticide/mothballs/92 years of lingering farts, theres beautiful dead animals on the walls which should still be roaming free. Lastly the tile on the floor is ugly and outdated. Other then that the people at this place are very knowable and give great service.

Such a local treasure. Been around for a few generations in Moorpark. They have almost everything you need and are always great to talk to.
