9:30 PM on Sunday is the best time to go because the employees have a happy hustle to help get you out of there quickly because they can’t wait to go home. The parking lot is drama free because there are none of the usually pretentious customers. Everyone is happy and cheerful, compared to how it normally is. I only go here for Amazon returns and usually I’m greeted by somebody very robotic that has nothing to say. They just scan the code and can’t wait for you to leave. This time I got to use the machine because nobody was there to help me at the Amazon return station and it was really great!
The store is always clean so at least there’s that.

Used to like Whole Foods a lot but not this location they don’t have EV charging stations other locations but for sure has a unique design. I hope they would consider adding free EV charging like fall town or Shell free charging fast charging would be great to.

Love, luv this place but they play the worst music on the planet and they really play it so loud that not only customers complain but employees as well. It's difficult to have a conversation with another without raising your voice... Why?
AS for the food, it's great! the pizza is delicious thanks to the thin crust and their food bar is good as well. Rock-it bar has the best service as well. But they feel as we all do about the horrible music.
Prices are good and very competitive. I noticed that my standard unionized grocery store has higher prices on alot of the items I shop.

Produce getting worse and worse. Of 7 bell peppers in prepackaged bag, 2 were moldy. Eggplants went bad in my fridge after less than a week, probably because of supposedly compostable bags which are now the only choice in the produce section. No option to buy single lemons or limes- only pre bagged ones which are typically not as fresh or juicy. Scallions from yesterday’s purchase were all wilted this morning again because of those awful bags.

Time to start visiting the farmers markets regularly again. No longer trust Whole Foods produce.

Oh! And a jar of olives came with the seal broken because it leaked all over my pantry before I found it.

I returned all the items. Hopefully someone will get the message that way

A maximum triple yum (yumyumyum) for the gluten and dairy free cheesecake. Yes, it's that good. Plus, $2.99 /lbs for organic envy apples. I bit into one on the drive home, and it burst with juice and flavor I'd not had from an apple in a long time. Thank you wholefoods !

I've been stopping by alot in 2025 for the salad bar for quick meals. While I'm not impressed with their hot salad bar offerings, the cold salad fixings have been good. The grilled chicken has always been cooked thoroughly and has nice grilled flavor, as do the fresh veggie fixings. I like the mediteranean salad dressing. The 0 cal 360 Drink bottles are good too with no added sugars or alcohol sugars. I also love the 360 Organic Vanilla Bean ice cream, & had a great apple pie from the bakery section. They usually carry Best Day Brewing NA beer which is one of my favorites. The pizza quality seems hit or miss. Lately seems mostly under baked.

I like this Whole Foods and come here every so often. However, yesterday I had an incident with a lady who brought her DOG in the store... this happens all the time here by the way with dogs here and many stores in SoCal (this is not just a wholefoods problem).... Anyway, I was in the Amazon return line with my two small kids in the stroller and as I was trying to quickly scan my things and go with the cashier (who was so nice), but that lady with the dog had let her leash line extend quite a bit and her dog immediately went toward my 2 year old and he screamed bloody murder (i was bewildered and my adrenaline was at 100%) and i realized she let the dog near my kid (probably thinking it was cute and he'd like it šŸ™„) well she got her answer and scared the crap out of him and me in reaction and i just dont know what to do anymore about this as a mom and this whole new phenomenon of people just bringing in their dogs EVERYWHERE. Im just exhausted always having to be on-guard when i go to places that i normally expect that I dont have to worry about animals being around and my child not getting scared. I want to shop in PEACE and feel comfortable looking for items or doing a return and having zero incidents with stuff like this. I totally respect people who truly need service dogs, of course. I know dogs are cute, especially huskys! But this behavior needs to stop somewhere. I tried to call the store to just tell them what happened, but couldnt reach anyone. i know maybe its a difficult situation, but why do dogs have a right over my childs feeling of safety? There has to be more control over this issue. What if her dog had jumped on him or worse, bit him 😭😢It is a worse situation and lawsuit with emotional and physical harm done to a small child if something bad happens, rather than just having courage and telling people they cant bring their dogs in the store, no exceptions. 😢 šŸ™

Everyone is lovely here except Harold the Angry Cheesemonger / Deli Counter Associate. I strongly believe he shouldn’t be customer-facing. He made me fear for my physical safety; my face was twitching. Deep, distressing trauma response.

The hot bar, salad bar, and pizza are way better at Fashion Island. Specific examples of lacking execution:

-Garlic broccoli, partially frozen (those frozen garlic chunks are abhorrent)
-Golden beet + feta; feta dried out and grainy like astronaut food
-Pizza often scorched and dry

Parking could be better, and it can get fairly congested inside.

Bob, you’re awesome, don’t ever change. Daniel, Alan, Colleen, Parisa, other names I’m blanking on—likewise. I’m so sorry I can’t come back because your raging cheesemonger (or deli meat guy, who am I to know?) shook me to my core.
