I have a love hate relationship with this place.
If I had all the money in the world I would shop here regularly for the simple fact that everything seems ripe and juicy. Always the best fruits and vegetables on display, the best selection of meat and their food bar is always so tempting.
I love their homemade salsa and did grab some of that.
Otherwise I couldn’t justify the spend.
The store is super clean, smells like patchouli and really makes you feel like you’re fighting for climate change. I’m kidding- sort of.
The only thing I didn’t understand was how to access my Amazon prime for discounts. I scanned the QR at self check out and it kept bringing me to the Amazon website, not to a place that was helpful past that so I didn’t utilize my prime membership.

It’s a cool place truly.
The parking lot belongs to a strip mall and I found the parking spaces small but i went at rush hour. Otherwise I don’t see why it would be a problem to secure parking.

Besides the fact that this (and most) Whole Foods is 20-30% higher than most grocery stores but they tend to label in a way that misleads. There were two labels saint a gallon of water was an already high $2.36 checking the receipt it was 6.00 reduced to 5.49 for Prime. The prime discounts were a joke. $435 bill reduced by $9.34 for being a prime member. There was a time when Amazon bragged low price and selection. Certainly not at Whole Foods. Don’t get me started on the cooked meat section. Spent 35 bucks on over spiced over cooked dry beef and ribs. I assume the cook there old meet rather than reducing or tossing. Will not shop here ever again

The Mayo Whole Foods is most likely the largest store in the metro Phoenix area. The Mediterranean bar - aka olive bar is the best of any grocery store.

I've found the meats and produce to be A+ at this location. Whilst Whole Foods isn't known for friendly employees I find the guys behind the butcher counter and the people who work in the vitamin section helpful and friendly.

I bought two bunches of organic spinach yesterday and it has fungal infection. I also had rotten mushy mandarins. It’s sad that I paid this much money to have it all tossed in the trash bag. What a waste.

Their cashier at the checkout line yesterday morning was very very rude. She came up to me to tell me I’m not allowed to use the checkout line because I have more than 15 items. No signs saying that and I only had 12 items three of which were rotten and ended up being wasted! Save your money and go to sprouts, trader Jo’s and better quality stores with less pretentious employees.

I don't have the opportunity to visit this store very often. While visiting my daughter in Scottsdale, I frequented it a few times. The employees were extremely helpful when I couldn't find what I needed and the quality of the products was very high. The ground chicken and green peppers were delicious in homemade stuffed peppers, and the apples I purchased for homemade apple dumplings were perfect! I loved the cleanliness and orderly look of the store.

Customers Beware !
I ordered a catered thanksgiving dinner for 8. When I arrived at 12:15pm on Wednesday, November 27 (the scheduled time) I was shocked to see the check in line had over 90 people! Plus there were over 25 people waiting to receive the order. I waited in line for 45 minutes (the line barely moved) and then very disappointed left for Costco.

This is not customer service nor professional. The management clearly didn’t know what they were doing. If Whole Foods can’t handle the amount of orders at one point they should have not accepted additional orders. Highly disappointing. Of course Amazon has charged me for the food and now I have to wait for the refund to process.
