I stopped here after camping in the rain for a week in the mountains, all the while kicking myself for not buying the Merrell water-proof hiking shoes i had on my Amazon wish list for years. The shop and the proprietor were amazing. Truly an outdoor woman's fantasy shop. (Maybe men's, too, but I wasn't looking at their stuff.) The shop owner was very friendly and helpful without being pushy, and kindly lead me to sale items first. I bought my Merrells, a beautiful artist-rendered quick dry towel, adorable cabin socks, a beautiful mauve hoody with images of pine tree silhouettes, and a Terramar altitude turtleneck base layer. I had to stop, lest I spend the rest of my vaca $$. So many beautiful temptations. I generally don't splurge, but I figured I'd better strike while the iron was, uh, wet.
Men, if your lady is an outdoors woman, this is the place to go. Stock up for Christmas. She'll love you for it..

Nice little store with pretty good selection of gear. I like to buy local as I grew up in the area when we are “home.” This last visit we got my daughter an Osprey pack but wasnt thrilled with the customer service of the worker there. He acted like he was doing a favor by answering a simple question. We can so better Wellsboro. Anyway it won’t deter me from going back and will still support my home town!

Great inventory so we grabbed a bunch of stuff. Prices are as expected for the brands. Was surprised that we weren’t approached or welcomed by staff after reading reviews. Very transactional.

This is an incredible little store with an incredible amount of gear for your hiking or outdoor activities. I found all kinds of things that I needed badly for my extensive backpacking outings. They have some unique items. You can't get anywhere else in the area and a good amount of books and maps of the surroundings. I found the service to be excellent as well.

Great selection, wide variety. Staff member was very helpful, worked with me in choosing just the right hiking boot. He even special ordered me a size to try since I may need a size they don't carry a lot of.

Surprisingly, good selection, though keep in mind that if you are looking for something in especially small or especially large size, they may have to special order it for you. Which they will do, for free!

Love this store! The owner was super nice and very helpful and gave me some great advice on some different products. Great gear and really good prices too. Going back to pick up a new pair of hiking boots as soon as my size comes in and hopefully some new shorts. My dog loved it there too hahaha. Thanks again!

Really nice store, cute setting and good selection of quality hiking/outdoor brands. Shout out to Jason who was very patient with me on my journey to find a good fit for a hiking shoe.
