I recently visited Womenfolk in downtown Jackson Hole, and I was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. The store boasts an exquisite collection of carefully curated vintage pieces, each with its own unique charm and story. If I could leave zero stars I would. I walked into this store on Saturday with my mom and she fell in love with a jacket. We had just arrived in Jackson and Greer, the store owner (super helpful, pleasant and bubbly) told my mom not to worry, she would hold the jacket behind the desk for her to pick up within the next 24 hours. She told us she would be open on Sunday from 10-6. my mom also asked if she needed to leave her phone number and Greer said oh no worries. I know you’ll be back. My mom and I showed up Sunday at 10 AM to get the jacket the next morning and no one was at the store. We called, emailed, left messages, etc. The maps said she was closed on Sunday. Apparently, the store opened at 11. We were not informed of this. My mom called and emailed a few more times on Sunday to try and get a response about the jacket she wanted and with there not being a response, we figured maps were right and the store was closed. Monday, we have lots of morning plans, and don’t end up back to the store until around 4 PM. Greer sold the jacket this morning even though she told us she would hold it. Very upset with this. My mom is so upset and she was so excited to go back to get the jacket. She even had planned on wearing the jacket to dinner. We understand it is a vintage piece and these pieces go quick, but when you tell a customer that you will hold something for them and you don’t that’s just unacceptable. And if you tell a customer you’ll hold it for 24 hours, you need to tell your customers the correct hours and make sure the correct ones are posted online. After reading through other comments, I honestly don’t think she was even opened on Sunday, and in that case, the jacket should’ve still been behind the counter on Monday. If you find something you want at this store don’t count on Greer to hold it.

As you can see in both of these pictures, the store is not opened on Sunday.

Such a great shop. Everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful. She carries some amazing collection pieces, and plenty of easier purchases that are really beautiful too. A well curated shop with that western flair you can really only get with vintage stuff. A must stop on the Jackson shopping circuit.

Some very nice stuff. However their prices are out of this world. 800+$ for moth-damaged wool jackets? Nah, thanks, will pass. Don’t expect to find a single bargain here.
