Don’t let the location fool you. These guys know small motor equipment. They had the parts that I needed to repair my wood chipper. I had a good discussion about the design and issues with my model with the salesman. I’ve been here before and I’ll definitely come back in the future.

Contractor level shops can be intimidating for homeowners but this shop is not the case. They were very patient and answered all my questions without judgement. They took the time to explain products to me. Great variety of machines and parts. Superb service.

Big box store inventory in a local small store. All of my questions and concerns were answered and the correct chainsaw for me was found. They made sure I new how to properly use it, shared the proper starting procedure and filled with bar oil and half a tank of gas. They stock all the materials the homeowner and professional could need for outdoor equipment. I haven't had the opportunity to bring anything in for service but I will update once that happens. Note: they offer a discount for cash.

I have been buying farm and ranch equipment from Yardbird for at least 15 years. He may not be the least expensive, but his knowledge and service & repair people are top notch. It's worth the extra price to have a long-term relationship with them especially when things wear out or break down. The owner Is not a slick smiling salesman, but an honest hard-working businessman who knows the equipment better than anyone ,

I’m beyond frustrated that they have had my equipment for repair close to two months. When I called in again today, I was told the parts were in but the work wouldn’t be able to be completed. I asked to simply pick up the parts and my equipment and was told that they wouldn’t be able to get collect them for me today. I must be missing something, right? Where do these parts and my equipment need to be collected from? I would imagine my equipment is in a corner somewhere and the parts are in inventory as he stated. I wouldn’t recommend for a couple reasons. 1: I feel they are treating me with indifference, why work with a business that doesn’t demonstrate respect or interest, 2: The estimated turnaround was just just over a month and they failed to deliver, under promise and under deliver.

Although this vendor could not service my small engine, he was great giving advice on what to look for. He was surprisingly patience and genuinely helpful. If he is this good with customer he can't service, likely excellent with those he does. Keep it UP! 5-STARS!

Yardbird Equipment Sales is a little hole in the wall place that has a good size back room and a fairly large service business. I like the fact that you get personal service and it is nice that they service what they sell. I was buying Stihl equipment which seems to be price protected which means that the prices are the same wherever you shop. So that means if you're buying Stihl equipment, they are competitive and the owner of the store really tries to please you.
