The store reminded me of an older beach store you would find by the ocean. The owner was very pleasant to talk to. The store was adorned in pictures of her when she was younger in original Japanese clothing. She was very informative on the history of the island

My boys and I loved this quaint little shop packed with souvenirs in Avalon on Catalina Island. Yoshi is such a sweetheart. We we're impressed with the quality and selection of all the products in the store. The shop is run by Yoshi and her daughter. Not only did we love the items that we picked up, we loved talking with her, too. Shr is an icon!! Wait till you find out her age!

Crooks!! Bought a shirt from them found out that the shirt was damaged once we are all the way back home to Kansas City. Called them told him we could send them a picture of the damage of the shirt they only offered to give us another shirt but we have to pay the price difference plus the shipping to get the shirt here to Kansas City. Two weeks later they are now telling us that they told us to send the old shirt back. And they’re arguing with us about giving our money back. Absolute crooks with no customer service skills over a shirt that they probably paid about five dollars for from China. Never ever shop in their store. Calling the Better Business Bureau as well hope they are shut down soon

Great place for Catalina t shirts souvenirs
Other places were okay, but I loved all the different shirts they had we picked up two for the memories
