I always stop here on the way to cherry hill campground. The store is well stocked with lots of goodies including, snacks, beverages, tools, newspapers, and firewood. Perfect place to stop well going on a trip

I moved away 35 years ago! I am glad the store is doing well. I remember the store in the original location across the street. Yes my tab was fully paid up when I moved. I considered Larry a very good friend of mine and I miss him.

OPEN and well stocked general store, located at the main intersection of CA HWY 32 and Nopel (55 mph w/ crosswalk). Friendly staff, fresh produce, hot food counter and a clean restroom. I stop here every time I come down the hill and they always have a perfect beverage for me. I would rather stop here, than in the city. Support your local store in the mountains!!

I love this store. They have a deli counter, offer homemade goodies, have an excellent selection of groceries and supplies tailored for mountain living. Also a pretty decent selection of adult beverages (no hard liquor though) and the staff is always friendly. Many of the workers are family. Highly recommended!

I'm a local and have been for 25 years. The owner of the store and I have been friends most of the time, but we've had our share of runn-ins. Mostly because I try to show up after they close. LOL
Everything is clean as it can be for a mountain store. It has its mountain Store charm and that's important. Staff is always friendly I know most of them. Although there's not a whole lot of selection he tries to keep a variety of different things available. It's a great place to go and get a snack or even groceries, that pack of smokes you're "dying" for , or even that bottle of beer on a hot afternoon.

Nicest people-- they care! I've stopped and purchased coffee several times on the way to our cabin, but today I picked up a nail in my tire and they broke out their personal air compressor-- the BEST!
